The Small Print

Once a deposit has been paid for design work to commence, you as a client are forming a legally binding contract for services and you agree to the following terms & conditions:

QUOTATION AND PAYMENT

A quotation will be provided for you upon contacting Hide & Create Graphic Design for your design project. All quotes are valid for up to 30 days and prices are in Australian dollars. Quotes are for design costs only and additional fees may be added for printing costs and/or stock images.

Should there be any changes to the agreed initial brief and quotation, additional fees will be charged at $45.00 per hour.

A non-refundable 20% deposit will be required before design work commencing. The balance will be payable on completion of design work. Once final payment is received, the final design files will be released. Please note payment details will be on your invoice (bank transfer is preferred).

Invoices are payable within 7 days of the invoice date. If the final invoice is overdue by more than 21 days, Hide & Create Graphic Design may terminate your account with final files withheld.

 

CANCELLATIONS

If a project is cancelled after the deposit has been paid, this is non-refundable and will act as the cancellation fee.

 

CONTENT

The supply of content and assets is the responsibility of the client and must be supplied to Hide & Create Graphic Design. Please ensure all content is reviewed and proofed thoroughly prior to providing material. Text should be proofed and images supplied at 300dpi. If stock images are required, these will be charged additionally. Hide & Create Graphic Design will not be responsible for errors in supplied content.

 

APPROVAL

Once final proofs have been supplied to the client, approval will be required. Hide & Create Graphic Design takes every care to avoid errors. Once approval has been given, this is final. Hide & Create Graphic Design is not responsible for any spelling, grammatical, numerical errors or omissions after final approval. No refunds or reprints will be supplied.

 

OWNERSHIP

Hide & Create Graphic Design retains ownership of artwork until final payment has been received. Once payment has been made, the client shall have ownership to use and distribute at their discretion. Hide & Create Graphic Design retains the right to use said artwork in their design portfolio, social media and promotional material. Any breach of copyright will result in legal action being taken as necessary.

 

DESIGN CREDIT

The client allows Hide & Create Graphic Design to display any projects on the Hide & Create Graphic Design website / social media pages / and portfolio for promotional purposes.
The client agrees to allow Hide & Create Graphic Design to credit design work on all websites designed by Hide & Create Graphic Design.

 

TURNAROUND TIMES

Every effort is made by Hide & Create Graphic Design to meet deadlines. An approximate date of completion will be given to the client at the start of the project. Please note these are estimates and may vary depending on the revision process. Hide & Create Graphic Design will not be held responsible or liable for any costs resulting from late artwork or printing deliveries.

 

DELIVERY OF ARTWORK

On final payment, artwork will be supplied in all digital formats required. Hide & Create Graphic Design does not take responsibility for printed products that do not print properly, are damaged or lost in transit. Please note that colour on projects can vary from screen to final product. Screen proofing is not indicative of final printed piece. Printed colours can vary from printer to printer and job to job, due to the nature of the CMYK printing process.

 

MANAGEMENT OF FILES

Hide & Create will retain your files for a period of 1 year. Every effort is made to store your files however please be aware this may not be possible due to data corruption or software changes. Hide & Create Graphic Design will not be held responsible for re-producing artwork free of charge in the event files cannot be recovered.
